Mask & Music Carnival in Switzerland

Basel Carnival (Basler Fasnacht) is a big three-day festival in Basel, Switzerland. People wear fun masks and costumes, play drums and flutes, carry painted lanterns, and fill the streets with music and confetti. Learning about it at school helps Swiss students feel seen and proud. For other students, it builds respect and cultural curiosity, and shows that many cultures have meaningful ways to celebrate community.
