Eastern Orthodox Christmas
Wednesday, Jan 7, 2026 · Cultural
Eastern Orthodox Christmas is celebrated on January 7 by many Orthodox Christians, based on the Julian calendar. One quick fact is that families often attend a special church service and share a праздничный meal together. Celebrating it at school is a warm way to teach respect for different traditions and help students who celebrate it feel seen and included.
