Independence Day of Madagascar is a day to celebrate Madagascar’s freedom, history, culture, and national pride. In the classroom, it’s a nice chance for kids with Malagasy roots to feel seen and proud of their heritage. It also gives other students a way to learn about Madagascar’s unique nature, languages, traditions, music, and stories, while growing their curiosity and respect for different cultures around the world.
