Independence Day of the Philippines is a day to celebrate Filipino history, freedom, culture, and national pride. In the classroom, it’s a nice chance for kids with Filipino roots to feel seen and proud of their heritage. It also gives other students a way to learn about Filipino traditions, stories, food, music, and community, while growing their curiosity and respect for different cultures.
