Lohri
Tuesday, Jan 13, 2026 · Cultural
Lohri is a Punjabi winter festival celebrated around mid-January, especially by families from India and Pakistan. It often includes music, dancing, and sharing warm treats around a bonfire. Celebrating it at school is a warm way to learn about Punjabi culture and seasonal traditions, and to help students and families who celebrate Lohri feel seen and included.
