Passover (April 1- April 9) is a Jewish holiday that remembers the story of freedom and the journey out of slavery in Egypt. It is a meaningful celebration to talk about in the classroom because it helps children from Jewish families feel seen, respected, and connected to their culture. It also gives other children a chance to learn about a different tradition, which can build respect, understanding, and cultural curiosity.
