Start of Portuguese Heritage Month
Monday, Jun 1, 2026 · Cultural
Portuguese Heritage Month begins in June and is a time to celebrate Portuguese culture, history, traditions, and the contributions of Portuguese communities. In the classroom, it can help kids with Portuguese roots feel seen and proud of their heritage. It also gives other students a chance to grow their cultural curiosity, learn with respect, and see how every community adds something special to the world around us.
