Friday, Jan 30, 2026 · Cultural
Sadeh is an ancient Iranian winter festival, celebrated mainly by Zoroastrian communities around January 29–31, that focuses on fire, light, and hope during the cold season. People often gather and light a large bonfire at sunset. Recognizing Sadeh at school is a warm way to learn about Iranian culture and Zoroastrian heritage, and to help students practice curiosity, respect, and a sense of belonging.
