Celebrate Diversity Month is a time to notice, appreciate, and learn about the many different backgrounds, cultures, experiences, and identities people have. It can be meaningful to recognize in the classroom because it helps children feel seen, respected, and included for who they are. It also gives kids a chance to learn about one another in a positive way, which can build respect, empathy, and cultural curiosity. Celebrate Diversity Month is commonly observed in April.
