Start of Immigrant Heritage Month

Immigrant Heritage Month begins in June and is a time to celebrate the stories, cultures, and contributions of immigrants in our communities. In the classroom, it can be a simple way to talk about family stories, different journeys, and the many ways people help shape the places we live. It helps students see that every background has value, and that our communities are stronger when everyone feels welcome.
