Thursday, Jan 1, 2026 · Cultural
Tamil Heritage Month is in January and celebrates Tamil people, a community connected by the Tamil language and culture, with roots mainly in South India and Sri Lanka. Many families also celebrate Thai Pongal in mid-January, and recognizing it helps students learn and helps Tamil families feel seen and included.
