Zanzibar Revolution Day is a public holiday in Tanzania that remembers a major change in Zanzibar’s history. Celebrating it at school is a respectful way to learn about Zanzibar, talk about history and identity, and help students with Tanzanian roots feel seen. It also helps all students feel more connected and more welcoming toward Tanzanian classmates and families.
